Job Title

Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary

This full‑time role, located in Allouez (Green Bay, Wisconsin), supports patient care in the urology clinic. The LPN works 40 hours per week, coordinates appointments, documents vital signs, assists with procedures, administers medications, and maintains infection control standards.

Responsibilities
  • Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
  • Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders, and prepare patient charts.
  • Instruct patients and families within scope of licensure or certification.
  • Assist medical providers with in‑office procedures and prepare/administer medications and immunizations.
  • Maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet infection control standards.
  • Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or Practical Nursing program.
  • Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient‑care experience as a MA/LPN through professional work experience or completion of student clinical rotations.
  • Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred).
  • Current clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (preferred).
Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of principles and skills needed for practical nurse or medical assistant to provide patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster patient relationships.
  • Ability to work under stressful or emergency situations with high concentration and energy level.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet changing demands in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Problem‑solving skills and comprehension of clinical policies.
  • Proficient in the use of EMR systems, computer, phone, and office equipment.
