Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

Trueline's client, a publicly traded global manufacturer serving critical infrastructure and defense markets, is seeking a Controller to join their team in Green Bay, WI. This is a high-visibility leadership role supporting a fast-growing business unit, with real runway to advance into senior finance leadership.

This opportunity is ideal for a CPA ready to step into a business-facing leadership seat, or a seasoned Controller who wants to help scale a growing, acquisition-driven platform. The role blends hands‑on accounting leadership with strategic partnership.

• Lead monthly close, financial reporting, and reconciliation activities
• Oversee AP, AR, and general accounting operations
• Partner with business leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Ensure strong internal controls and SOX compliance
• Support working capital management and cash flow planning
• Present financial insights to executive leadership
• Identify and implement process improvements across accounting operations
• Contribute to M&A integration and growth initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; public company or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience leading or mentoring accounting staff
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment

• CPA certification
• Experience with Net Suite or similar ERP systems
• Background in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience in acquisition integration
• Prior exposure to SOX-regulated environments
