Engineering​/GIS Aide

The Village of Ashwaubenon Public Works, Engineering, Building Inspection, Water / Sewer, & GIS Departments are jointly looking for an individual to fill an Engineering/GIS Aide position.

Job duties vary greatly & most will be acquired/taught. They include and are not limited to:
Data entry, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), filing, large format scanning, taking photographs, running errands, assisting with special projects & proposals, etc. This position reports to the Village of Ashwaubenon GIS Coordinator.

$16.95/hr

• Strong organization skills
• Ability to be detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and self-starter
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• General knowledge of computers

• Ideal for a high school student interested in pursuing or currently enrolled in a degree program in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Possess a valid Wisconsin Driver's license with a good driving record.

School year:

• 5 to 10 hours per week on a flexible basis.
• To be worked between the hours of 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday or Friday between 7:30am - 11:00am.

• 37.5 hours per week.
• Monday through Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am - 11:00am.
• No nights, weekends, or holidays are required.
• Flexible with needed time off (unpaid)
