Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sr./Lead Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and control panels using EPLAN. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in schematic design, component selection, and integration for industrial automation or manufacturing equipment.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical design within industrial automation, machinery, or related domains.
  • Proficiency in EPLAN P8 (mandatory).
  • Strong experience in electrical harness design, schematic drafting, and panel design.
  • Good understanding of UL508A, NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEC standards.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and integrate electrical designs accordingly.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute electrical design activities including schematics, panel layouts, and harness designs using EPLAN P8.
  • Develop wiring diagrams, terminal layouts, and bill of materials (BOMs) for electrical systems.
  • Design and document control panels, ensuring compliance with UL, NEC, and NFPA standards.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and controls teams for complete system integration.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
  • Conduct design reviews, verify component compatibility, and ensure design accuracy.
  • Support fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting during panel build and commissioning phases.
  • Work closely with suppliers to identify and qualify electrical components.
  • Ensure project timelines and quality standards are met throughout the design process.
