Speech/Language Pathologist for the 2026-27 School Year Job Description
The Green Bay Area Public School District is currently seeking dynamic and compassionate Speech/Language Pathologists to join our team for the 2025–26 school year. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ personal, social, and academic development through improved speech and language skills.
Our district proudly supports new and continuing SLPs with strong mentorship, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision, and covers ASHA dues and monthly professional development hours. Key Responsibilities- Provide direct speech/language therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Conduct evaluations, reviews, and re-evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in the creation and implementation of students’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Consult with families, educators, and other staff to support students’ unique needs
- Assist classroom teachers with strategies and curriculum modifications
- Maintain accurate and confidential records related to student progress and services
- Foster a positive, student-centered learning environment across a variety of settings
- Actively engage in professional development and collaboration within a supportive team
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Wisconsin DPI license in Speech and Language Therapy (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to inclusive practices and continuous improvement
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
