Hours:

One 8-hour workday per week during the academic year. Flexibility on day of the week based on availability. Flexibility in schedule is required for day, night, or weekend classes as needed.

Salary: $45.00 per class hour contracted

• Responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering instruction and assessment of learning outcomes.
• Utilize engaging instructional strategies and methodologies which foster student success both in and outside of the classroom.
• Maintain accurate student records and communication.
• Advise and support students as a mentor and role model in the achievement of their learning and career goals, including being accessible outside scheduled class time.
• Provide educational leadership and work effectively with faculty, administration, and campus support staff.
• Maintain Faculty Quality Assurance System requirements and licensure required by other agencies to maintain individual and program accreditation.
• Comply with College policies and practices related to instruction, assessment, and delivery.
• Additional duties and responsibilities will be discussed as needs arise.

• Course emphasis will be on Programmable Logic Controllers and electrical maintenance.
• Provide instruction and technical support to NWTC Corporate Training and Economic Development.

• Completion of Apprenticeship Program OR Journey-worker s certificate in subject area OR Bachelor s degree in related field and five years direct occupational experience.
• At a minimum, occupational experience must have occurred at least 1 year within the last 5 years.
• Occupational experience may include positions such as Electrical and Instrumentation (E/I) Technician or Journey-level E/I Technician, E/I Technician or Journey-level E/I Lead Technician, E/I Foreman, Control Systems Technician.
• Specifics on job experience in: troubleshooting and repairing process control systems; operating electronic instrumentation equipment; selecting, installing, calibrating and checking sensing, telemetering and recording instrumentation and circuitry; developing specifications; sketching, building or modifying jigs, fixtures, instruments and related apparatus; verifying dimensional and functional acceptability of devices fabricated; operating test apparatus and recording effects of actual or simulated conditions; reducing test data to usable form and preparing graphs and written reports;
