Overview
Part-Time HVAC R Instructor position at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (Green Bay, WI). Courses are delivered in a variety of formats. Standard hours: one 8-hour workday every other week during the academic year. Salary: $45.00 per class hour contracted.

Responsibilities- Responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering instruction and assessment of learning outcomes.
- Utilize engaging instructional strategies and methodologies that foster student success both in and outside of the classroom.
- Maintain accurate student records and communication.
- Advise and support students as a mentor and role model in achieving learning and career goals, including accessibility outside scheduled class time.
- Provide educational leadership and collaborate effectively with faculty, administration, and campus support staff.
- Maintain applicable quality assurance and licensure requirements to support program accreditation.
- Comply with college policies related to instruction, assessment, and delivery.
- Additional duties and responsibilities will be discussed as needs arise.
Additional
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management
- Diagnose and repair HVACR laboratory equipment
- Associate Degree in HVAC/R or closely related field.
- OR
- Registered Journey-worker's or Apprentice certificate in the subject area with at least 5 years of direct occupation experience, including at least 1 year within the last 5 years.
- Possible occupational experience includes: HVAC&R Technician, HVAC&R Design Engineer/Technician, Mechanical Systems Designer, or HVAC Applications Engineer.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- Commercial and residential HVAC/R service experience.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC/R equipment and service techniques.
- Employment is conditional on the completion of a background check and drug test with acceptable results.
- Previous teaching experience with adult learners is preferred.
- Ability to design, install, and repair residential and commercial duct systems, hydronic systems, HVAC control systems, and commercial building automation systems.
- Technological fluency with HVACR design software and with Apple iPads, mobile devices, and HVAC industry apps.

Ability to move around campus and work with fixed equipment; may require working from lifts, ladders, or scaffolding. - Manual Dexterity:

Ability to wear and use personal protective equipment as required. - Heavy Lifting:
Able to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance. - Visual and Auditory:
Ability to read documents and communicate effectively.
