Member Relationship Officer – Contract to Hire

The Member Relationship Officer creates a positive impression and establishes strong member relationships, delivering a lasting member experience. The role assists members with consumer lending needs, new accounts, digital services, account maintenance, transaction processing, and problem resolution. The Officer uncovers member needs, educates on products, recommends solutions, and provides sound financial guidance.

• Build and maintain lasting relationships through conversations, anticipating future needs and exceeding expectations.
• Interview loan applicants and provide underwriting additional information to support loan decisions.
• Assist members with opening, maintaining, and servicing deposit products and services.
• Process basic and advanced member transactions and account maintenance confidentially, accurately, and efficiently while resolving member issues.
• Educate members on ancillary loan products and insurance options, securing appropriate solutions.
• Achieve assigned goals and refer members to partnering teams (Financial Well‑Being, Mortgage Lending, Investment Services, Treasury Management).

• Minimum one year of sales and service experience.
• Previous financial industry experience is preferred.
• Financial Counselor Certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and active listening.
• Sales skills in gaining commitment to products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and team members.
• Flexible availability, including rotating Saturdays.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Preferred ability to speak and translate fluent Spanish and English.

Intermediate Level

Contract to Hire – Green Bay, WI (fully onsite)
