Field Services Representative

WPS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking aField Services Representative in our Green Bay, Wisconsin location. This position typically works full-time hours during the months of April - November and is subject to seasonal layoffs.

• Disconnect/reconnect electric meters
• Disconnect gas meters
• Collect customer-initiated/offered payment to prevent disconnection or to restore service (This will not include negotiations)
• Seal and unseal electric and seal gas meters per customer request
• Visit premises to gather and/or verify billing and customer information
• Obtain meter readings as necessary
• Recognize situations where disconnection might not be appropriate and contact appropriate company contact (Customer Assistance Advisor, Credit Management Coordinator, Field Collection Specialist, etc.) for instruction
• Conduct field audits for restoring service to disconnected customers
• Report suspected cases of service diversion
• Report cases of customer fraud
• Report unsafe connections (unauthorized connections, defects, damage, etc.)

• High School Diploma, GED or HSED
• Valid Drivers License

• Previous meter work experience
• Customer service experience
• Previous field experience such as utility work, gas or electrical work, truck driving, law enforcement, military, etc.

Minimum Posting Range: $23.26

Maximum Posting Range: $29.02

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.

At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
