Part‑Time TRIO Assistant – Grant Funded
Join the Inside Higher Ed team supporting the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC). The assistant provides essential administrative and program support, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, student engagement, and compliance.

Location: Green Bay, WI
Hours: 24 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Pay: $17.33 per hour
Travel: Occasional day travel to a regional site
Grant Funded until: June 30, 2030
- Provide clerical and administrative support for TRIO staff and program activities.
- Maintain accurate student records and assist with data entry for compliance reporting.
- Track student participation and progress.
- Organize program files while maintaining confidentiality.
- Support outreach and recruitment efforts through communication and marketing tasks.
- Serve as the welcoming point of contact for TRIO participants and visitors.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, workshops, and cultural events.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage program calendars.
- Prepare materials for workshops and events.
- Minimum associate degree required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- Experience in an educational or student services setting.
- Familiarity with TRIO programs or similar initiatives.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
