Senior Accountant

Full-time Mon‑Fri 1st Shift

Schneider is seeking a Senior Accountant in Green Bay WI to participate in close processes, including preparing internal reporting and performing in‑depth variance analysis. The Senior Accountant will put together period‑end journal entries, perform analytical review procedures during monthly close and prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.

• Be responsible for accounting areas such as goodwill, equity, share‑based compensation, leases, certain subledger activity, intercompany transactions and balances and foreign currency.
• Review and post journal entries during period‑end close processes.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assess the effectiveness of control procedures.
• Prepare external financial reporting.
• Implement new accounting standards.
• Develop, document and implement procedures that will produce timely and accurate financial information.
• Document processes and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Four to six years of accounting or auditing experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
