Staff Accountant

On-site role in Green Bay, WI. No remote or hybrid. 2–5 years of manufacturing accounting experience required. The Role

This role executes month-end close and supports financial reporting within a custom, project-based manufacturing environment.

You’ll work closely with the Controller and Operations teams to maintain accuracy across job costing, WIP and general ledger accounting in an engineered-to-order setting.

This role is best suited for someone with hands‑on manufacturing accounting experience who understands how financial accuracy supports operational execution.

• Execute month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Reconcile WIP, inventory, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
• Support variance analysis and management reporting
• Assist with quarterly and year-end close processes
• Support audit preparation and documentation
• Assist with AP/AR and employee expense report processes as needed
• Support cash management and bank reconciliations
• Maintain documentation for internal controls and compliance

• 2–5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of month-end close and general ledger accounting
• Experience with job costing, WIP, and project accounting
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• ERP experience (Epicor preferred)
