Join the City of Greeley as a CDL Driver. The City of Greeley is seeking full-time CDL drivers to strengthen our Greeley-Evans Transit (GET) program. As a Mobility Coach Operator, you will be pivotal in providing safe, timely, and efficient passenger transportation within the GET service area. Reporting to the Mobility Manager, your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with system policies, maintaining on-time performance, and prioritizing passenger safety.

Note: As a condition of receiving City-funded CDL license training, employees are required to repay the City of Greeley up to $3,500 if you resign or are terminated for cause within 24 months of your start date. Details will be available in a CDL Training Reimbursement Agreement provided during the interview process.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Class B-P1 Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to pass and maintain DOT Physical Requirements.
• Participation in Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Drug and Alcohol testing programs.

• Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job.

• Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Class B-P1 Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements
• Military veterans
• Passenger Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Knowledge of and ability to adhere to FTA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations.
• Ability to complete on-going GET bus driver training programs including updates on FTA, DOT, ADA Paratransit, and safety information.
• Excellent knowledge of ADA regulations and the ability to operate paratransit services for passengers with disabilities.
• Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to transit policies and procedures; ability to provide detailed, accurate reports to dispatchers and supervisors.
• Ability to work during seasonal service demands, including overtime and limited time off during peak periods and special events.
• Knowledge of streets, locations, restaurants, and hotels in the GET area.
• Ability to safely operate a bus under adverse weather conditions.
• Skilled in basic computer operations, word processing and spreadsheets.

• Operates transit buses along designated routes, adhering to schedules while prioritizing safety.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections; reports safety and maintenance issues to maintenance staff.
• Monitors service performance, responds to delays, and supports fellow operators.
