As an MDU Sales Representative at ALLO, your pivotal role will drive the expansion of our business, the growth of our customer base, and the delivery of exceptional customer service. Beyond your primary responsibilities, an exciting opportunity awaits you to specialize in the Multi‑Dwelling Unit (MDU) market segment. Your primary focus will revolve around promoting and selling our fiber internet, TV, and Voice services, with a strong emphasis on targeting MDUs within your designated network area.
Your mission is to generate new leads, foster robust customer relationships, and ensure unwavering satisfaction throughout the sales process.
You must be a highly motivated self‑starter, not afraid to cold call, have strong negotiation skills, and be able to provide a demonstrable record of experience in the same role.
Most of your time will be negotiating rights of entry (ROE) with MDU property owners, Homeowners Associations (HOA), and Property Management Companies. Such ROE permits contractors and developers to install telecommunications cable and equipment in the MDU building or HOA, extending to individual apartments and units, so that ALLO can provide services to any apartment or unit within the MDU/HOA.
This role includes base pay plus commission, with unlimited potential.
Responsibilities- Demonstrates excellence in all aspects of MDU ROE sales development- strategic professional; understands the drivers of performance excellence at all levels; understands and implements key metrics for all MDU sales disciplines in his/her area; instills and maintains a high energy culture at every level of the organization
- Consistently drives the organization to exceed sales and revenue targets for the MDU division
- Actively prospect and generate leads for new Multi‑Dwelling Units (MDUs) opportunities in the assigned network area, including selling commercial services to the MDU (apartment complex)
- Present and promote ALLO’s fiber services to potential customers, effectively communicating the benefits and features of our offerings
- Conduct in‑depth needs assessments and understand customers’ requirements to tailor the best solutions for their specific needs
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities, managing the sales process from initial contact to closing the deal, on MDUs
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop sales strategies and meet or exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales cycle
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to effectively position ALLO services in the marketplace
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports on sales activities and results
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent ALLO and generate leads
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay updated on new technology developments related to fiber services, including MDUs
- Work collaboratively with construction, technical operations, and implementation teams to conduct surveys, review designs, and facilitate approval to efficiently build ALLO networks into MDUs and HOAs
- Previous experience in telecommunications sales or a similar field is preferred
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Proficient in using sales CRM software and other sales tools
- Customer‑focused mindset with exceptional customer service skills
- Familiarity with telecommunications infrastructure, fiber internet services, or related technologies is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build relationships
- Self‑motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for technology
- Knowledge of the 811‑dig process and experience with fiber‑to‑the‑home (FTTH) networks is a plus
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area and occasionally attend events outside the area
