About the Role
As a Transportation (Non-Fleet) Risk/Sales Advisor, you will develop a book of business and provide consultative insurance solutions for non-fleet operators. You will collaborate with internal teams and industry partners to stay ahead of market trends and deliver exceptional service. This position offers hands-on experience, comprehensive training, and ongoing professional development.
What You’ll Do
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, referrals, networking, and lead generation.
- Client Relationship Management: Build lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Sales Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to company growth.
- Risk Needs Analysis: Assess client risks and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with service teams and leadership to ensure excellent client support.
- Industry Engagement: Participate in industry organizations and community initiatives.
- Marketing & Presentations: Develop proposals, presentations, and digital campaigns with marketing teams.
What You Bring
- Associate degree (A.A.) or 4-6 years related experience; or equivalent.
- License or Certification: STAR designation, Colorado multiple lines license, valid Colorado driver’s license, and acceptable MVR.
- Experience in trucking industries and understanding of commercial insurance is a plus.
- Proven sales success, relationship-building skills, and excellent communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with a proactive approach.
