Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1813) – Target

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $17.75 USD per hour

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their needs; resolve guest concerns when possible.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Assist guests with Target Loyalty programs and help with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate how to use Target App features (including Wallet) and direct guests to enrollment or activation as needed.
• Understand Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; assist guests with enrollment and usage of these features.
• Handle returns following store policies, and collaborate with leadership as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace; manage baskets and hangers for removal; stock supplies during store hours as needed.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up orders, and returns while complying with safety policies and relevant laws.
• Adhere to ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; report hazards and take corrective action where possible.
• All other duties as required by business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions; support cash office operations as needed.
• Stock merchandise safely and efficiently; capable of lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a shift; be adaptable to varying temperatures and conditions.
