Registered Nurse RN Endoscopy

Overview

Banner North Colorado Medical Center is a 378-bed Level II trauma center located in Greeley, Colorado. We offer an array of inpatient and outpatient services, including medical, surgical, cardiac, cancer and critical care. Greeley is a vibrant community 45 minutes north of Denver, with access to recreational activities, world‑class skiing and a thriving cultural scene.

This full‑time role supports patient care across the entire endoscopy care continuum, including pre‑operative, post‑anesthesia care unit, procedural rooms and basic endoscopy technical procedures. The RN works eight‑hour shifts (Monday‑Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) and is responsible for delivering high‑quality nursing care in line with Banner Health policies and national standards.

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technicians and interdisciplinary team members to formulate individualized plans of care and discharge plans.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing and non‑nursing health‑care personnel, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Deliver patient and family education, monitor responses to care and therapeutic interventions, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record, reflecting objective data, interventions and outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to leadership activities within the unit.

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (or compact RN license).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of acute‑care nursing experience in a setting with endoscopy or specialty procedures (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Professional certification related to endoscopy or surgical nursing.
