Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required

• Active Colorado RN license (verification within 30 days) – Colorado healthcare jobs

• Current certifications (AHA or American Red Cross):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

• Completed L&D skills checklist (within past year)

• Comprehensive resume with facility/unit/trauma level details

• Valid Driver's License

• Flu vaccination (declinations accepted with application)

• No license restrictions or hits

• Travel nursing experience preferred

• Preferred:

Experience with couplet care, circulating OR cases, baby admits, and triage
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns

• Perform triage and patient assessments in the Labor & Delivery unit

• Deliver couplet care for postpartum mothers and infants

• Circulate in the operating room for deliveries and related procedures

• Assist with newborn admissions and immediate care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

• Comply with facility-specific healthcare and background requirements
