Job Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs various patient care activities and accommodations under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Duties include assisting patients, maintaining hygiene, helping with mobility, and providing comfort. The CNA does not administer medications or therapy, nor assume independent responsibility for patient care. All activities are performed consistently with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
The CNA may also perform other related duties as assigned.
- Education & Training:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a CNA where required by state. Current BLS certification required. - Experience:
No prior experience required. A minimum of 2‑3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.
