* High School Diploma/GED; plus two (2) years of automotive industry experience or other related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
* Basic level of understanding of vehicle repair and maintenance.
* Knowledge to include, but not limited to: diesel and/or gasoline engines, electric motors. automotive, electrical, and mechanical system repairs.
* Methods, techniques, and practices of operation, repair, and maintenance of automobiles, equipment, and other program vehicles, including cost estimating.
* Materials, supplies, equipment, and practices used in automotive maintenance and repair.
* Occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to various vehicle maintenance operations.
* Ability to establish and maintain vehicle maintenance programs.
* Read automotive wiring schematics, etc.
* Ability to use the necessary tools associated with this trade with precision.
* This position requires the use of a company vehicle for business travel. The selected candidate must successfully pass an MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance.
* A pre-employment post-offer physical evaluation will be required of the selected candidate.
- Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology, engineering, etc. ASE certified; plus, two (2) years of automotive experience and an applicable automotive repair certificate (ASE preferred) or equivalent.
