Director of Nursing; DON

Skilled nursing facility association in a close-knit community in the beautiful Greeley/Loveland area of Colorado.

One of healthcare industry giants is currently searching for an outstanding Director of Nursing to complete their Class A++ team. This position will be in a smaller skilled nursing facility making it a more intimate environment.

The Profession

Responsible for day-to-day operations oversight of the facility's Outpatient Division. As the Division Head, you are expected to deliver these duties:

To do these, you need to be equipped with vast knowledge and extensive experience in budgeting, development, research, and analysis of new and existing clinical services. You will be designing and implementing cost reduction strategies when necessary. You are also responsible for strategic and capital equipment planning and technology assessment for the Outpatient Unit.

BSN required - Master's Degree in Nursing (Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred); proven track record of effective management within a Hospital/Healthcare Environment.

Paper works:

• Active License in Colorado or ability to obtain one
• Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience as DON in Hospital/Healthcare Environment or Skilled Nursing Facility
• Minimum 2 years Management Experience
• Specialty certifications/credentials - BCLS, ACLS
• Competencies in Financial Management and Leadership
• Very keen decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Professional References
