Required

Colorado Teaching License or 1‑, 3‑ or 5‑year Substitute Authorization.
To enable each child to pursue his/her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of a Teacher.
Essential Functions- Report to the school office at the scheduled time in Absence Management, except at secondary level where reporting time depends on class schedule.
- Fill out the necessary forms, obtain any special instructions, and check the duty list for special duties to cover during the day.
- Check the regular teacher’s mailbox for special bulletins, money sack, etc.
- Assume responsibility for overseeing pupil behavior in class and during lunch and recess periods as assigned.
- Grade all papers done that day and record the results on the graded papers and on a loose sheet which may be folded in the grade book.
- Record absences in the manner presented in each building.
- Upon completion of the teaching day, return to the school office to receive any instructions for another assignment, complete required personnel forms, return keys and other materials, and submit the substitute timesheet with the appropriate signature.

:
Ability to sit for long periods, manage numerous distractions, visual and auditory acuity, occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.

:
Visual, auditory and ambulatory ability; effective communication; knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to perform the functions of the position as outlined.
