Overview
Habitat America, a growing property management company, seeks an experienced and professional Leasing Agent for The Lodge at Marlton in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The Lodge at Marlton is a beautiful senior tax-credit apartment community.
Responsibilities- Reception, customer service, leasing apartments, office phone/file/etc, and other office duties as assigned.
- Planning, coordinating and carrying out activities for the residents of the community.
- Developing the community newsletter and calendar.
- 2+ years of prior property management Leasing Consultant or Resident Services experience
- Tax credit housing experience is desired
- Motivated and sales oriented personality
- Must have good communication skills and energetic personality
- Advanced written and verbal skill set
- Proficiency with computers and learning new computer software
- Microsoft Office proficiency (ex. Excel, Word, and Publisher)
- Yardi experience is a plus
