RN - MedSurg​/Tele

Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:30 - 08:00); every other weekend required.

The MS/Tele-ER Border Nurse provides patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume setting, managing a wide variety of complex diagnoses. This role involves caring for patients at the intersection of emergency and medical-surgical/telemetry, ensuring optimal transitional care for patients admitted from the Emergency Department.

• Administer medication and monitor patient progress and responses.
• Provide assessment and care for patients presenting with complex medical conditions.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including Respiratory Services and Social Services.
• Float between Emergency Department borders and Medical/Surgical units as needed.

• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience needed; preferred experience in a similar setting.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
