Laboratory Evidence Control Specialist

Overview

This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Forensic Sciences. The position's primary purpose is to serve as an expert in evidence matters and provide authoritative and interpretive assistance and advice to the field office and other federal, state and local law enforcement personnel regarding the legal handling of evidence matters, including the secure handling of evidence acquired by the field office.

As a LABORATORY EVIDENCE CONTROL SPECIALIST, your typical work assignments may include:

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Employment is subject to the successful completion of a background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Incumbent is subject to random drug testing.

• Selective Service:
