Salary $85,000 - $120,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HVAC Estimator to join our team in the construction industry. This role is key to our organization as it is responsible for preparing and coordinating complete estimates for our HVAC projects, including analyzing project drawings and specifications, identifying and quantifying cost factors, and evaluating subcontractor bids.

• Analyze blueprints, construction drawings and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Prepare detailed, comprehensive HVAC project estimates and proposals for all product lines.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects during estimate preparation to ensure accuracy.
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
• Establish and maintain tendering process, and conduct negotiations.

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• A minimum of 10 years  estimating experience with expertise in the HVAC and Mechanical space.
• Experience bidding on Commercial, Healthcare, Government, or other large-scale projects (~$7M-$10M range).
• Proficiency in Bidding, Cost Estimates, and Estimating Software such as Quote Soft as a plus.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with estimation software.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other relevant certification would be a plus.
