We are looking for a Lead Superintendent for commercial construction projects to provide leadership to all trades and in all phases of the project.
The ideal applicant will have experience managing all trades, experience with large complex projects, be highly organized, be able to ensure high quality and high safety standards, and will be proactive.
Responsibilities include:
Willingness to maintain and support a strong jobsite safety culturePredict hazards and write and implement safety plans, reports, and statisticsTrain and mentor other superintendents fostering a positive and successful superintendent team while monitoring engagement, work conditions, and employee satisfaction of all laborManage trade, the coordination of trades, and moderate disagreementsMotivate staff for optimal performance, collaboration, and teamworkConduct start-up surveys, meetings, and partnering sessionsExemplify a commitment to quality in all aspects of the project planDevise schedules for trade use and team meetingsAssure accuracy and completion of daily reportsEnsure contract requirements are metOrganize timely completion of paperwork and reportsMonitor performance and budgetRepresent Warren Builds in a professional mannerAssign responsibilities to team membersMonitor safety statistics and accident reportsReview and analyze contractor quality plansManage work correctionsMonitor progress and ensure timely deliverablesReview bids for compliance with the scopeReview vendor drawings and submittalsPrepare and distribute daily reportsPrioritize and effectively manage timeCollaborate with subcontractors, engineers, and key team membersCoordinate required inspections with local authoritiesRequirements:
7+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent supervising larger more complex projectsConstruction coursework and/or a related degree is helpful but we value your field expertiseOSHA 30 certificationComfortable reviewing details with contractorsDemonstrated comprehension of safety plansUnderstanding of construction operations and processesExcellent knowledge of construction materials and equipmentSoftware savvy – MS Office; familiar with construction and project management software programs such as Procore and BluebeamExcellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation and management skillsMust be able to travel to the job sitesMust have field experienceWarren Builds offers a competitive compensation and benefit package and we are a GREAT place to work.
