Site Safety Coordinator

• Assist team members to recognize and avoid OSHA safety violations
• Provide onsite training on OSHA rules and regulations
• Assist project foreman in developing pre‑task planning procedures for a consistent safe work environment
• Perform daily job site inspections to prevent injuries or workplace violations
• Manage and report injuries or incidents as they occur

This is a brief summary description of the duties associated with the position, however, there may be other duties required and assigned by the manager of this position as deemed appropriate for the role.

• Determined to ensure all team members go home safely each day
• A communicator ready to share and teach how things are done
• Ready to train others on OSHA rules, safety best practices, etc.
• Eager to walk their project looking for opportunities to improve
• 30‑Hour OSHA Certified
• CPR/First Aid Certified
• Has experience with the construction industry
• Ready to work at a DC Metro Area job site

• 3‑5 years of experience in the construction field
• 1‑2 years of experience a safety coordinator position
• Past experience focused on large‑scale commercial construction
