CDL Delivery Driver

DSG is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver in our Great Falls, MT location. This is a full‑time, hourly position with typical hours of 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, subject to change based on business needs.

As a CDL Delivery Driver, you will work in all aspects of warehouse operations, with the primary duty of delivering product to customers and job sites. This includes loading, unloading, securing and transporting materials.

Required credentials – hold a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a current medical card.

• Load delivery truck safely according to company policy.
• Work with warehouse associates to determine loading procedures.
• Inspect truck and trailer to ensure compliance with company policy and DOT standards.
• Report vehicle safety or maintenance issues to supervisor immediately.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery dates and times.
• Drive to various customer locations, typically within 150 miles of branch location.
• Unload materials at customers’ facilities according to instructions.
• Maintain compliance with DOT/FMCSA and OSHA regulations, including completion of required training activities.
• Adhere to DSG’s safety policy and vehicle safety program.
• Maintain a good driving record.
• Assist in all aspects of warehouse operations when not on delivery, including:
• Accurately pulling product to fill orders promptly.
• Packing, labeling, and storing filled orders for delivery.
• Operating forklift.
• Using computer and RF scanner to track product status, availability, and location.

• A valid Class A or B CDL with current medical card (required).
• Acceptable driving record (required).
• Basic product, warehouse, and delivery knowledge normally acquired in 1–3 years of applicable experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively while working under pressure and time constraints.
• Safety training on material handling and forklift operation.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or move items weighing 70–325 lbs with the aid of mechanical devices or assistance.
• Prior computer knowledge, experience, and skills.
