Loenbro Industrial Services is looking to hire Licensed Journeyman Electricians for our Thompson Falls, MT construction site. This is a project position for candidates who have a passion for safety and have experience in the heavy industrial environment. The Licensed Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a team and will be responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of industrial equipment and systems.

• Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
• Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
• Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
• Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• The Electrician will follow and perform other instructions and other related duties as set forth by management.

Required:

• Montana licensed electrician preferred OR reciprocal state licensing.
• Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in instrumentation and industrial electrical system.
• Experience in electrical and pneumatic process controls.
• Must be dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed.
• Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.

Preferred:

• Capable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations.
• Work with and train apprentices on the job.

• Outside most of the time.
• Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
• Limited working surfaces.
• Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
• Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
• Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights).
• Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks.
• If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
