Job SummaryLoenbro Industrial Services is looking to hire Licensed Journeyman Electricians for our Thompson Falls, MT construction site. This is a project position for candidates who have a passion for safety and have experience in the heavy industrial environment. The Licensed Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a team and will be responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of industrial equipment and systems.
Responsibilities- Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
- Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
- Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
- Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- The Electrician will follow and perform other instructions and other related duties as set forth by management.
Required:
- Montana licensed electrician preferred OR reciprocal state licensing.
- Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in instrumentation and industrial electrical system.
- Experience in electrical and pneumatic process controls.
- Must be dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed.
- Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
Preferred:
- Capable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Ability to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations.
- Work with and train apprentices on the job.

- Outside most of the time.
- Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
- Limited working surfaces.
- Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
- Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
- Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights).
- Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks.
- If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
