Essential Job Functions:

• Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at check lanes.
• Handle various tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, Offline SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons, and checkout procedures according to company policy.
• Adhere to the company's cash shortage and overage limits and work to control loss.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with advertisements and promotions.
• Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflict effectively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
