Join an elite 10‑bed ICU team in a specialized 36‑bed inpatient hospital during an exciting phase of cardiac service expansion. This is not just a standard ICU role; we are looking for a Critical Care Expert capable of managing immediate post‑operative open‑heart patients from day one. You will work within a highly cooperative "Great Team" culture, receiving direct support from the ICU Director and CNO.

• Immediate Post‑Op Recovery:
  Provide expert care for patients directly following open‑heart surgery, revascularization, and carotid endarterectomy.
• Advanced Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Manage and troubleshoot complex equipment including A‑lines, Chest Tubes, Central Lines, Nasogastric tubes, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation.
• Ventilatory Support:
  Manage and monitor patients requiring both invasive and non‑invasive short‑term ventilation.
• Clinical Leadership:
  Act as a clinical leader on the floor, providing direction to LPNs and CNAs while assisting with the precepting of staff.
• Full‑Spectrum Care:
  Support patients across the care continuum—from admission to discharge planning—covering populations including Cardiac, Med‑Surg, and Pediatrics.

• Experience:
  
  3 years Recent Critical Care experience is mandatory. You must be trained and ready to take immediate post‑op open‑heart patients on your first shift.
• Education:
  
  Degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Licensure:
  Current State of Montana RN Licensure (or Compact).
• Certifications (Required): BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• Clinical Knowledge:
  Proficiency in EKG interpretation, hemodynamic stability assessment, and titration of multiple IV pumps.

• Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
