Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! This role is central to delivering exceptional patient care—through assessment, education, treatment, and prevention—while working closely with providers and care teams. What You’ll Do- Coordinate and support patient care alongside providers and interdisciplinary care teams
- Review and update medical records to ensure accuracy before visits
- Screen patients, gather medical histories, and assess immunization needs
- Prepare patients and assist with exams, treatments, and procedures
- Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per provider orders
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions, prevention, and care plans
- Document all encounters and follow-ups in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Facilitate specialty referrals and connect patients with community resources
- Participate in team huddles, peer reviews, and Quality Improvement activities
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and Alluvion’s mission-driven values
Education & Licensure:
- BLS required
Experience:
1+ years of experience in primary care or equivalent setting, preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication, time management, and patient education abilities
- Comfort with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and related technology
- Work with patients from a wide range of backgrounds with empathy, professionalism, and respect.
- Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Indoor, climate-controlled clinic environment
- OSHA Category #1: potential exposure to blood/body fluids
- Frequent use of hands/fingers for patient care and computer work
