Position OverviewUnder the general supervision of the Great Falls Clinic Hospital Respiratory Care Manager, the respiratory therapist provides services to patients with disorders of the cardiopulmonary system, including diagnostic testing, therapeutics, support, monitoring, patient assessment, and patient education.
Education- Licensure from the Montana Board of Respiratory Care Practitioners and all required prerequisites.
- Credentialing as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), required.
- Knowledge of general respiratory care processes, procedures, and equipment, applicable rules and regulations of Federal and State regulatory agencies, and GFCH policies, required.
- Appearance, conduct, and delivery of service in accordance with standards above, required.
- Knowledge of continuous quality improvement procedures and current projects, required.
- Knowledge of safety and infection control regulations and recommendations, required.
