Position: Relief Residential Technician - Residential Services (Great Falls, MT)

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other staff members.
  • Implement individual support plans, assessing strengths and skills in daily living.
  • Assist adults and youth with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions in identifying, developing, and participating in a variety of meaningful activities to increase functional independence.
  • Administer assessment instruments and assist in the development of training programs for persons with developmental disabilities.
  • Assist in training programs that center on basic living skills, independent living skills, vocational skills, and academic skills.
Requirements
  • Talents, skills, and abilities:
    Computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate, record, and perform basic computer tasks for performance-based software and an electronic medical records system.
  • Interpersonal oral and written communications to work as a team member, observe and report accurately, learn resident care methods, and follow instructions.
  • High School Diploma or HSE is required, along with past employment experience.
  • A valid Montana Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one, and an acceptable driving record.
  • An acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
