Rehabilitation Aide Full-Time, Non-exempt, Great Falls

Position Overview

A paraprofessional person working on a therapeutic team providing recovery, support, services within a residential, addictions, treatment home.

Job Duties
  • Assists in matters related to daily living such as the procurement of food, meal preparation, care and maintenance of the home.
  • Provides a level of supervision to the clients geared toward client safety and wellbeing.
  • Helps provide structure for the clients.
  • Assists in prompting clients to take medications as prescribed.
  • Will help provide a substance free sober environment within the home.
  • Develops and facilitates social and recreational activities for clients.
  • Monitors the clients for signs of relapse into substance use or drug seeking behaviors. Reports suspected use or drug seeking behaviors to clinical staff.
  • Must have a MT driver's license, personal vehicle, and current insurance.
  • Engages in activities with the clients.
  • Completes all required trainings.
  • Completes all documentation required for the clients in this role. Completes other forms of documentation as deemed necessary.
  • Able to respond to clients in crisis in the appropriate manner.
  • HIPAA Compliance with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) 42 CFR.
  • Must be willing to work nights, overnights, weekends, and scheduled holidays.
  • Must have a valid MT driver's license, valid personal insurance, and personal vehicle.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • This knowledge is typically acquired through completion of high school, high school equivalency or work-related vocational training.
  • One year of job-related experience preferred.
  • Must be in recovery for 2 years, without incarceration, hospitalization, or inpatient admission exceeding 72 hours in the last 2 years.
  • Must have some knowledge and experience of mental illness and substance use treatment, and its impact on consumer/survivors and their families.
Wage

$16.50 per hour + DOE
