Job Overview
Benefis Health System invites applications for the Care Coordination Assistant (Full Time). The role supports clerical functions in a health‑care unit, ensuring accurate data entry, safe document handling, and timely communication with patients, families, and insurance carriers. Responsibilities- Answer phones and provide copies of documents as requested.
- Review patient charts for data entry and access regulatory documents.
- Order supplies and items for the unit and assist with pre‑authorization and insurance communication.
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
- Demonstrate accuracy, stress tolerance, conflict resolution, and effective communication with a variety of people.
- Follow all Benefis Health System policies, procedures, and licensing board or agency regulations.
- High School graduate or equivalent (preferred).
- Medical terminology knowledge (preferred).
- One (1) year of healthcare experience (preferred).
