Position:
Pharmacist. Provides pharmaceutical care by identifying, assessing, and solving medication problems. Responsible for providing physician, staff and family (caregivers) with drug information. Processes all prescription orders, maintaining appropriate records, and overseeing preparation, storage, and distribution of all pharmaceuticals. Supervises pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel. Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and handle changing situations.

Performs all job duties as assigned and complies with licensing board requirements and Benefis Health System policies.

• Identify, assess, and solve medication problems; provide drug information to physicians, staff and families.
• Process prescription orders; maintain records; oversee preparation, storage, and distribution of pharmaceuticals.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines; maintain accuracy; handle changing situations and conflicts.
• Adhere to all licensing, regulatory, and Benefis Health System policies and procedures.

• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in Montana.
• Pharm.
  
  D. degree, or BS Pharmacy, from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Anticoagulation therapy management certification from ACPE or certified anticoagulation provider from ASHP when applicable.
