• Assist Pathologists in performing gross surgical exams, frozen sections, and autopsies according to documented protocols.
• Receive, access, and accurately process surgical, autopsy, or diagnostic tissue specimens from hospital departments and physician offices.
• Perform work in clinical Laboratory and Histology as assigned.
• Handle pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and adapt to changing situations.
• Interact effectively with a variety of people, handle stressful situations, and resolve conflicts.
• Follow all licensing, organizational policies, and procedures.

• Master’s degree and certification as a Pathology Assistant.
• One year of related experience.
