The purpose of this position is to provide support to students who need accommodations or support through the Middle School SWIS (School within a School) program or the Academic Achievement Center in the High Schools. There will also be additional responsibilities to monitor students’ use of computers and on-line learning. This position will require excellent communication, organization and ability to work with others cooperatively.
QualificationsTwo years of college coursework or passing competency test within first month of employment (district will support).
Duties- Structure the daily operation of the program;
- Organize multiple support opportunities for multiple students;
- Facilitate cooperation between teachers, students and parents;
- Complete specific projects as assigned;
- Assist students with testing accommodations required by 504 and customized learning plans;
- Supervise and monitor students;
- Manage and help students utilize on-line learning;
- Support students in their academic responsibilities;
- Other duties as assigned by administrators.

Salary$14.19 per hour, 7.5 hours a day, 180 days per year
