Job Summary
The University of Kansas Health System – Great Bend is seeking an experienced

Registered Nurse (RN)

for the Medical-Surgical unit.
The ideal candidate will have strong acute care experience, the ability to manage complex patients, and flexibility to float within scope as needed.
Experience Requirements
Minimum:

1 year of recent hospital Medical-Surgical experience
Preferred:

Experience managing continuous IV infusions (gtts), including but not limited to:

Heparin
Insulin
Amiodarone
Cardizem

License & Certification Requirements
Active

Kansas RN license

or

Compact RN license
AHA BLS

(Basic Life Support)
AHA ACLS

(Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Floating Requirements
May float within scope to the

Emergency Department (ED)

as needed.
