Job Description
The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join the team at the Great Bend Campus in Great Bend, KS.
Responsibilities- Work alongside one anesthesiologist and two full-time CRNAs in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
- Share call equitably among providers with a 1:3 ratio or better, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
- Maintain an operating room schedule Monday through Friday with occasional add-on cases on Saturdays.
- Provide care for a diverse mix of surgical cases, including orthopedics, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, and podiatry.
- MD or DO degree or foreign-trained physician.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or an equivalent certifying body.
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach to care, and a commitment to clinical excellence.
