University of Kansas Health System - Pediatric Physician - Bend Campus

The University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric physician to join its team at our Great Bend Childrens Clinic location. This is a well-established pediatrics practice that provides comprehensive inpatient and ambulatory pediatric services with two established physicians and two APPs. The call rotation is 1:3, and outpatient first-call is directed to the RN-staffed call line.

The Great Bend Childrens Clinic is a warm and inviting space where both patients and staff feel  clinic boasts a light and airy atmosphere, complemented by brightly colored hand-painted murals on every wall. The dedicated nursing and support staff are knowledgeable and work diligently to ensure that providers receive the necessary support to deliver excellent care to pediatric patients. The nursing staff in this clinic has an average length of service of 20 years, showcasing their unparalleled dedication to the local community.

The Great Bend Campus includes a 33-bed not-for-profit hospital that provides short-term acute care services, along with orthopedic, obstetric, and surgical care units. Radiology services and an emergency department, including Level IV trauma services, are also available. The Great Bend Campus offers specialty ambulatory care in Family Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and other specialty clinics. The University of Kansas Health System employs over 400 associates in our Great Bend facilities.

In addition to Family Medicine, the St. Rose Medical Pavilion also offers cardiac rehab, on-site lab and digital x-ray services, a Convenient Care walk-in clinic, and access to outreach specialists. We are fully equipped for telemedicine as well.
