Drivers Mate

Overview

The Best Connection are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver's Mate to join our delivery team. You will be working alongside a driver, assisting with the delivery of white goods to customers' homes.

Pay rate is £12.64 per hour

OT after 8 hours a day is £18.96 per hour

Main shifts will be Monday to Friday also with the occasional Saturday.

Shifts start at 06:15am and finish times may vary due to the nature of the role.

• Assisting the driver with daily deliveries.
• Handling and lifting large household appliances safely.
• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensuring all products are delivered in good condition.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

• Good level of physical fitness - this role involves heavy lifting.
• Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
