Providing support for Directors, Associate Directors and Senior Account Executives of the motor fleet team which duties will include:
- Achieving sales &/or profitability objectives, typically from new clients or accounts
- Prospecting and developing new client relationships within a defined geography or market
- Identifying and understanding new and existing clients' needs
- Building relationships with clients and giving prompt attention to their requests whilst maintaining contact with them
- Maintaining accurate Client and Insurer records and preparing detailed reports and presentations as required
- Keeping up to date with day-to-day emails and diary entries
- Organising and attending meetings as required
- Ensure that all premiums are collected within agreed timescales
- Ensure that renewals are invited to clients within the agreed timescales
- Communicating with insurers, clients and finance houses
- Carrying out policy adjustments for clients via email and insurer portal systems
- Any other task allocated by Directors
The successful candidate will inherit and manage a portfolio of clients in the region of £1 million GWP which they will be responsible for plus will be expected to cross sell products and prospect for new clients.
Experience/Requirements
- To be considered for this role, you must have the following experience/requirements:
- Previous experience in motor fleet insurance (preferably Haulage and Passenger Transport).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Highly organised and able to work well as part of a team.
- Experience of face-to-face client meetings.
- Determination and drive to increase their portfolio of clients through cross selling and prospecting.
