Thurrock Council is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Strategic Property Surveyor to join our Corporate Property Team.

This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Head of Property, and will play a key part in shaping the future of the council's property portfolio.

As a Strategic Property Surveyor, you will support the development and delivery of the Corporate Property Strategy, providing high-level professional, technical, and strategic advice across all council departments.

You will influence decision‑making at a senior level and contribute to the efficient, sustainable management of the council's diverse property assets.

• Provide expert strategic property advice to senior leadership and service areas
• Support the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of the Council's Corporate Property Strategy
• Lead on strategic asset reviews, property evaluations, and optimisation projects
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure property solutions meet service needs
