NPI Process Engineer at Enercon Technologies
As an NPI Process Engineer you will lead the transition of products from development to full-scale production. You will work cross-functionally with Project Management, Design Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product launches that meet performance, cost, quality and delivery goals.
In the role of NPI Process Engineer:
- Lead and manage product transition from prototype to production, ensuring readiness across all manufacturing and supply‑chain functions.
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and testable.
- Input to and manage project plans, schedules and deliverables for new product launches in conjunction with project management.
- Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions, routings, BOMs and process flows.
- Coordinate pilot builds and production ramp‑up activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the NPI process.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives during this process.
- Facilitate design reviews and product readiness reviews.

- Basic understanding of computer and machine programming and I/O logic.
- Process validation experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with MS Project.
Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, product development or NPI related roles.
- Strong experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Familiarity with ERP and product data management tools is a plus.
