The Town of Gray and Town of New Gloucester are jointly seeking a skilled and dependable Media Production Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support public meeting coverage and oversee municipal broadcast operations. This shared part-time position is responsible for recording and broadcasting all applicable Town of Gray meetings for Gray Community Television (GCTV) and serving as station manager for New Gloucester TV (NGTV).
The position reports to the Town of Gray Director of Communications and Information Technology.
- Demonstrated professional or amateur videography/photography skills
- Prior job experience in audio/video productions preferred
- Knowledge of filming procedures, camera operation, and audio recording equipment
- Knowledge of broadcast television hardware such as soundboards, video switchers, and broadcasting software
- Knowledge of relevant operating systems and software (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Edge, and Chrome, among others)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions under pressure strong communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems with software and equipment and resolve as able, escalating when necessary
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong English language and communication skills
