Pay Rate: £14 per hour (Days), £15 per hour (Nights)

Shifts Available:
Long Days 7am‑8pm | Waking Nights 7pm‑8am – 2 / 3 shifts per week

Access to a vehicle required, due to the geographical location of the role.

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Complex Care Assistant to support an adult client who is due to be discharged from Lane Fox Hospital.

The client will require a multitude of complex clinical needs that need to be met and monitored on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, proactive, and a team player who brings empathy and patience to their role. As the client is non‑verbal and uses eye‑gaze technology to communicate.

You will play a key part in encouraging and supporting alternative communication methods to help them express their needs and enhance their daily experience. This is a rewarding opportunity to build on your existing skills while making a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Candidate would need to meet the following requirements before applying:

• A full UK driving licence.
• A previous background in the care sector.

Experience in the following would be advantageous but not essential as full nurse‑led training will be provided:

• Tracheostomy Management
• Ventilation Support
• PEG feed experience.
• Suctioning
• Catheter Care
• Bowel Management (Manual Evacuation)
• Experience of administering medication.
• Moving & Handling experience.
