We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education for our students by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers. This role is essential in ensuring that students continue to learn and progress in a supportive and structured environment.

• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain on task.
• Support students with their learning and address any questions or concerns.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Follow the school's policies and procedures, including behaviour management.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and any issues that arise.

• Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• Experience working in an alternative provision or with students with special educational needs.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development.
